Admissions Information
Charter Admissions - 2008-2009 School Year
Applications will be available online September 13, 2007.
Open House – Sunday, November 18 – 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
-President Ron Russo will discuss admission procedures for the Class of 2012.
Placement Test – Saturday, December 1 – 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
-Our Terranova test focuses only on Math and Reading. No calculators are permitted. Students will be asked to write a brief essay on a topic that will display their interest in science and math. The test is given on December 1 only – there are no alternative dates.
Applications must be received by 8 AM on Friday, November 30, to register your student for the Placement Test. Applications received after December 1 will be considered on a space-available basis.
ONLY CURRENT 8TH GRADERS ARE INVITED TO TAKE THE PLACEMENT TEST.

An application is complete after the following materials have been received:
- 2008-2009 School Year Application
- Official Charter Recommendation Form
(All recommendations must be delivered/mailed to Charter in a sealed envelope.)
- Final 7th Grade Report Card
- First 8th Grade Report Card
- Placement Test
- Essay at time of Placement Test
- Copies of National Standardized Tests (Terranova, Iowa, CTBS, DSTPs, Stanford) from 6th or 7th grades
- Copy of Utility Bill for Red Clay residents.
You will receive a letter or email confirmation in November advising you if your application is complete or if materials are missing. The confirmation will also remind you about the Placement Test.
