Charter Council is the student government organization run by members of the student body in cooperation with Mr. Russo (the Charter School President) and the class moderators. Charter Council is responsible for handling various events, activities and affairs that make The Charter School of Wilmington a community where such aspects like school spirit are promoted and public service projects are tackled. The group strives to accomplish a sense of unity and pride within the student body and to make sure the traditional high school experiences (and beyond) are made available to each person in the school. Charter Council consists of four different groups representing each class, which includes Senior Council, Junior Council and the Sophomore and Freshmen Class Representatives.
