Construction Project Planning

The Charter School of Wilmington is part of the Wilmington Campus that will now start its major capital reconstruction from 2008 – 2009. The major items that will be completed include replacement of all windows, upgrades in communication lines and central air conditioning. The plan calls for 6 classrooms to be renovated at a time with construction work occurring during the evening hours. Students and teachers will be removed from these classrooms and move to fully equipped “swing” classrooms on the 2nd and 1st floors. When that set of 6 rooms is completed those students and teachers will return to their classrooms. Then the next 6 rooms will be scheduled.
