Welcome to the Science Department at the Charter School of Wilmington.

On the first Saturday of May, incoming Freshmen will be given the option of taking the Science Challenge Test. 

The Challenge Test material correlates with the topics of the Chemistry I, Physics I, and Geosystems classes. Our program for Freshmen consists of one semester of Chemistry, Geosystems, and Physics. Any incoming student who demonstrates excellent performance in BOTH the Chemistry and the Physics challenge tests would qualify for placement into Biology.

If a student demonstrates excellent performance on the Geosystems challenge test, he/she would be exempt from taking Geosystems, but this does not qualify the student for placement into Biology.
