Welcome to Charter Physics
Welcome Charter students and parents to my physics web site. This site is designed to provide information (syllabi, assignments, course outlines, etc.) about my classes at Charter for the 2005-2006 school year. There will also be information posted concerning the clubs that I advise, engineering and science competitions, information about the girl's volleyball program, and links to relevant physics resources and news.
I am currently the science department coordinator and physics teacher at The Charter School of Wilmington. This is my eighth year teaching at Charter. My teaching duties for the 2005 school year will include AP Physics C, Phase 5 Physics, Modern Physics, Introduction to Robotics, and Introduction to Engineering. I am also the lead science teacher for Charter, the varsity girl's volleyball coach, serve as the president of the state volleyball coaches association, coach the Charter engineering competition team (Defending National Champions!) and serve as advisor to several school clubs. I will also continue to be an event supervisor at the Delaware Science Olympiads and serve on the Science Olympiad's executive board.
My wife, Cheryl, and I are both looking forward to the start of a great and exciting new school year and volleyball season. Have a safe and rewarding summer.
