Chor Hang Lam was chosen as a member of this year's National Physics Olympiad Team earlier this year. The team consists of the top 22 physics students in the nation. This is the third time in the last three years that Charter has had a student chosen for the team. Charter also had four semi-finalists this year. THe semi-finalists are the top two hundred physics students in the country. The four students from Charter were Chor, Hetul Patel, Arthur Huang, and Dai Yang.
The Charter varsity A engineering team was crowned National Champions in their division in the 2005 TEAMS competition.
