Support
Why Support CSW?
In 1996, The Charter School of Wilmington (CSW) opened its doors as one of the first independent public charter schools in the nation.
All funds raised this year will continue to support enhanced classroom and lab seating in all of our classroom and science labs along with innovative learning opportunities for our students.
Please join us in providing our students with an exceptional learning environment that affords them the opportunity to comfortably collaborate and accelerate their development.
The Charter Fund
The Charter Fund sustains and enhances the delivery of extraordinary learning opportunities to CSW students. Activities, equipment, and other expenditures supported by The Charter Fund play a critical role in maintaining CSW’s nationally recognized record of student achievement.
CSW Endowment Fund
Our Endowment Fund will be used to permanently support high-quality STEM Education for generations of teens. Honor a friend, a teacher, parents, or other family members with a gift to the Endowment in their name.
Charter School Funding
Under Delaware state law, charter schools do not qualify for public funding of capital expenses. We also only receive about 80% of the funding traditional public schools collect.
Senior Class Gift
What legacy will YOUR CLASS leave behind?
Beginning in 2014, each graduating class from CSW presents a senior gift to the school’s president at Commencement. The gift may be a cash gift for the Endowment Fund, The Charter Fund, or an item from our Wish List.
Donor Recognition
Financial support from our parents, students, faculty, alumni, alumni parents, Board of Directors, and friends combined with state and district funding helps propel our students to reach the highest accolades. We thank you exponentially!
