Congratulations to CSW math teacher, Daniel Damiani, who recently received his National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification. He was honored at our January board meeting and in class by his students. Dan Bruno shared the news at our February faculty meeting; Dan is also a National Board Certified English Teacher. The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards was established in 1987 to provide a voluntary pathway for professional educators to demonstrate what highly qualified and effective educators should know and be able to do. Every year, 71% of the applicants to this program are recognized by receiving certification. "It’s the highest certification a teacher may obtain in addition to being the most respected one."  Learn more here.
