Mrs. Lindsay Maiorano brings 15 years of teaching experience in Delaware public schools to her role as our new Special Services Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware and a Master of Education from Wilmington University, along with teaching certifications in elementary education, mathematics, and special education K-12.
Beginning her career in 2009 with the Red Clay School Consolidated District, Mrs. Maiorano initially taught and developed a curriculum for the skills prep math program at Stanton and Skyline Middle Schools and later taught a variety of math courses. In 2016, she transitioned to Newark Charter Junior/Senior High School, where she focused on supporting students with learning differences.
Outside of school, Mrs. Maiorano has three children aged 10, 7, and 4. She enjoys outdoor activities and cheering on the Phillies with her family. She is eager to join the Student Services Department at Charter and looks forward to supporting the students in their educational journey.
